Happy Birthday…

Did you know that our founders, Ethan The Farmer birthday is TODAY!

Whoa…

Just like you would say to a horse…

Now that he is another year older…

Would you consider making a DONATION to help take some of the STRESS of running this organization off Him?

As a thank you for all of the great hard work that makes this organization possible?

DONATE HERE

He puts in tireless hours, often 100 plus a week, voluntary. To make sure to help as many people, and communities as possible. Now, these donations won’t go directly to him but they will be used to keep this organization afloat and take some of the daily juggling and stress off of him.

THANK YOU

We now have OFF GRID camping!

DID YOU KNOW WE NOW HAVE LIMITED CAMPING AVAILABLE?

Are you interested in Camping on the property? Imagine listening to the rustling creek, just you, your friends and nature. The property is 4.25 miles from Rickets Glen State park. With the awesome hiking, biking, and even the TWO beaches! One mile from public Swimming hole. Fifteen minutes to a actual DRIVE IN MOVIE THEATER, Grocery Store, Kayak, and Canoe Rentals, and tons of other outdoor recreation activities availible.

We currently have two tent sites. These are rustic, with NO Amenities! Except the awesome atmosphere of a creek, a campfire and nature. RV access is very limited and there are ZERO hook ups. (NOT EVEN GRAY WATER DISCHARGE!) Any RV usage must be discussed PRIOR to site reservation. This is a LEAVE NO TRACE – in other words what you bring in you take out. There is NO bathhouse or Restrooms. Please use a method to remove your waste and NOT contaminate the area or the creek. There is NO swimming or fishing in the creek on site – as it is protected trout hatching water, MUST use the PUBLIC swimming area a mile down the road. We are asking a suggested DONATION of $5 per person or $25 per site and that is per night. A 50% deposit will hold that site and that night. Fire wood for our fire rings is availible to purchase for $5 per bundle. Please email HERE to get your reservation.

Limited Workshops, are available while staying on this location. Ar at your location. Learn about the availability HERE.

STEP Group addressing a Leak:

Here we have the video of a leak that the people at our STEP Group were called out to investigate.

At the STEP Group through our many programs and enterprises we strive to provide valued services to the general public, and teach “Skills Training and Employment” to those who need it most. In the process we offer value added services to the public at a great discount.

ROCK BOTTOM FARMS – STILLWATER UPDATE

This last weekend we spent Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday at the Rock Bottom Farms – Stillwater. We cleaned up brush, worked on cleanup, and getting a strategic plan in place to move forward.

This is the large Ponderosa Pine, bigger than any other around,

The Grower’s Responsibility…

Here is an article from our Farm Fresh Media Program, discussing the truth about food, and where it comes from. as well as the shady nonsense that is currently accepted in the American food supply chain.

Please do your part and “vote with your wallet”, as well as telling everyone you meet of the plight of the food system in this world as we know it today. Learn More about programs here at GTKYF Foundation Inc related to FOOD, and to FARMS.

We are HIRING!

Our STEP GROUP in Lancaster County Pennsylvania:

WE ARE HIRING!

A Job with a Mission

Are you ready to take the next step in your career and learn management skills in the home improvement and service industry? Do you want to work in a job that has purpose and serves the community?

At the STEP GROUP, (a program of GTKYF Foundation Inc) we are offering this opportunity to anyone who has the professional skills and the management skills to take on a position of leadership. Our STEP GROUP sends crews out into the community to help with plumbing, electrical and home systems repairs. We do this under the banner of a non-profit dedicated to community principles, and to working on behalf of the common citizen.

In this job, you will not have bosses looking over your shoulder. That’s because we believe in the principle of servant leadership – that instead of a hierarchy there is a collective of individuals doing their jobs well and respecting each other.

In this job, you will make money – enough to support your family and live comfortably, a fair compensation for your labor, because we believe in the equity of business.

If all of this sounds good, and you are the type who thrives on being a self-starter, who likes to deal fairly with people, and who wants to become involved in a genuine business role for a large non-profit, come down and talk to us about whether you might be the right fit for the job.

Another Neighbors Helping Neighbors Project

The reason why I am asking for help to get my Plumbing fix is because I am on a fixed income.

I get disability every month and that’s barely enough to let me live after paying all my bills.

I live in a mobile home,in a mobile home park, and I have a lot rent to pay, and electric bill, water bill and other bills and I just cannot afford to be able to pay to get the plumbing fixed to my house.

It is only me,I live by myself and I have no help from anybody with anything.

I live month-to-month and I have no savings or anything else to fall back on.
